Chrysler A618 Transmissions for Sale

The A618 is an automatic overdrive transmission made by Chrysler Corporation for large SUV’s and their Ram truck lineup. The first automatic overdrive made by Chrysler, it was introduced in the early ’90’s. Because the owners of said vehicles are very loyal, we get requests for Chrysler A618 Transmissions for sale every day.

Our top sellers are the rebuilt A618 transmissions. My experience with owners of the Dodge-Chrysler vehicles with said transmissions is that they are very satisfied with their product and want to keep their vehicles for another extended period of time. Once we present a price for a fully remanufactured A618 transmission with a remanufactured torque converter, most our clients are satisfied, since the price turns out to be less than their expectations.

The A618 is called a Torqueflight, which is Chrysler’s trade name for automatic transmissions. It is partly old school hydraulic and part new school with full computerization. Essentially it an excellent blend of new and not so new technology. Structurally it is an extra strong transmission capable of pulling heavy loads and taking a beating. As long as you keep the transmission fluid well maintained with the right ATF [automatic transmission fluid], the odds are good this transmission will last a long time under stressful situations.

Unfortunately, not all last that long. But most of our customers boast of simply wearing their transmission out, with lots of hard work and plenty of miles on it.

With that being said, our transmissions sell themselves. As it turns out, Dodge and Chrysler owners are not stupid and most of them use their trucks for some sort of work. Maybe not full time commercial work, but weekend things like hauling the boat to the dock or pulling a horse trailer. Our customers want reliability and affordability.

It’s my opinion nobody wants to buy an inferior product, and most people don’t knowingly look for an inferior product. The best way to get a superior rebuilt transmission is to buy from one of the most respected transmission suppliers in the country. GotTransmissions.com. We manufacture peace of mind into every transmissions we sell.

Because our product is so thoroughly rebuilt, our transmissions offer pure value and complete confidence to our customers. Call one of our trained staff members and find out more about how to choose the best rebuilt transmission for your interests. An educated consumer makes the best decisions. 2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Transmission Battery Pack

2002 to 2004 Toyota Hybrid Battery Pack

2002 to 2004 Toyota Hybrid Battery Pack

As promised, this is the third installation of a three part series on Toyota Prius Transmissions, Inverter, and now we shall talk about the Hybrid battery Pack. The first and second installations are available by following the appropriate text links [below paragraphs]. Although the 2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Hybrid Battery Packs are for sale as separate units, it’s important to mention that all three components can be bought as one kit.

To start with, we are one of the very first distributors to sell Toyota Prius drive-line components. It was GotTransmissions vision to be one of the very first transmission companies to be properly equipped to sell Prius drive-line parts. Realistically speaking it was inevitable for the Hybrid Prius to need drive-line parts and service. We wanted to be correctly prepared now, we want to service you at the same high level you have grown to expect out of us.

There are two batteries found in a Prius. The first is a lead-acid (Pb-A) 12v accessory battery which is commonly found in most vehicles on the road. The second is the main hybrid driving battery, which is specific to hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and electric vehicles (EV). We at GotTransmissions.com are primarily concerned with the latter.

What parts come with the battery pack? The twp part numbers I know of are;
1. Part ID # G951047030
2. Part ID # G951047031

This does not include an ECU, however, all parts do come with 6 months Parts Replacement warranty. As mentioned earlier, you can buy this alone or as a set. To read the first article in this series on the Toyota Prius Transmissions/Engine this is it. The second article in this series is on the Inverter/Assist Motors, and that would be quite informative to read also.

Getting to the technical details;

I’m not an electrical engineer, although this may be somewhat overcomplicated for many folks, this is what Wiki says about Nickel-metal hydride batteries, which are used in most hybrids; A nickel-metal hydride cell, abbreviated NiMH, is a type of secondary electrochemical cell similar to the nickel-cadmium cell. The NiMH battery uses a hydrogen-absorbing alloy for the negative electrode instead of cadmium. As in NiCd cells, the positive electrode is nickel oxyhydroxide (NiOOH). A NiMH battery can have two to three times the capacity of an equivalent size nickel-cadmium battery. Compared to the lithium-ion cell, the volumetric energy density is similar but self-discharge is higher.

With the above in mind, what is more important is purchasing your parts from a trusted distributor, stocking affordable top quality Toyota Prius drive-line parts. We come to work and prove our worthiness in the transmission business every day. Because the field itself is so new, only a select few companies with the foresight to see the need are prepared now to service your Prius needs.

Having said that, it is only logical to deal with a company who knows their subject now, instead of a company playing catch up, in essence using you as a guinea pig while they learn. Avoid that whole frustrating and painful experience and call one of the few certified experts on Toyota Prius Transmissions, Inverters and Assist Motors and Hybrid Battery Packs. Call GotTransmissions.com now.

2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Inverter / Assist Motor for Transmission

2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Inverter/Assist Motor

2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Inverter/Assist Motor

As promised, here is the second part of at least three posts written specifically for Toyota Prius owners. We will discuss the Inverter and Assist motor directly related to, and part of the transmission. Getting right to the point, if you did not read yesterdays post on Prius transmissions/engines read that one first [it’s the 2nd link], then spread the word; GotTransmissions.com is one of few suppliers of Toyota Prius drive-train components, and yes, we have Toyota Prius Inverter / Assist Motors for sale now.

Here is what you get when you order an Inverter/Assist motor setup.
1. The Electric Motor, which is part of the transmission…Part ID # G11004760
2. Inverter Assembly.

Yesterday we discussed the 2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius transmissions/engine if you want to read about that now. Today we want to talk about a component that can be purchased by itself, or as a complete unit with the transmission. We will refer to it as an inverter.

An inverter is an electrical device that converts direct current [DC] into alternating current [AC]. I’m not an electrical engineer, to put it simply, an inverter converts power by using a maze of capacitors, diodes and electrical parts which change direct current into alternating current. For all practical purposes, the inverter is charged with direct current, which is internally converted to alternating current, then to power a devise that runs off of AC.

Fir instance, campers and motor homes have inverters [which store electrical energy for later use] to operate lights, stoves and other conveniences [when the engine and generator are not running] built into them. Hopefully that gives you a better idea.

Through the regenerative braking system [a complicated system that turns the heat generated from brakes and converts it into electrical power] and regular charging system [alternator] the inverter stays charged, which converts one type of electricity into another form of usable electricity for said vehicle.

This operates the electric assist motors. Doing exactly what they are told via the sensors that communicate with the ECM. It has no sense of the electrical sequencing [in other words, it has no intelligence] and cannot drive the assist motors for propulsion without the computer.

With the above points being made, purchasing an inverter assist motor assembly is not an appealing idea. Which is precisely why doing business with GotTransmissions.com is so important. We have already scene into the future and are prepared to serve our customers now. A lot of resources go into becoming an leader in Toyota Prius drive-line components. It only makes sense to do business with the best informed transmission supplier in the country. Call GotTransmissions now for more information.

2004 to 2009 Toyota Prius Transmissions/Engine

2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Transmission/Engine

2002 to 2004 Toyota Prius Transmission/Engine

It’s no surprise to me that people are calling for transmissions and the parts that make up the drivetrain for the hybrid automobile named the Toyota Prius. The Prius has been sold Globally since 2001, it was released in Japan in 1997. GotTransmissions.com is now one of the only distributors for Toyota Prius transmissions, the Inverter/Assist motor and hybrid battery pack, which is not the conventional battery. It is a great honor being the first transmission replacement company’s having the rights to offer 2004 to 2009 Toyota Prius Transmissions/Engines for sale to you, our customers.

I want to discuss the actual transmission portion today. We call the transmission type an ECCVT, which is an acronym for electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The transmission unit includes the electrical assist motor [PT300] generator [alternator] PT601] and starter [PT604].

Before I get involved too deeply, it was inevitable for Prius owners to wear out drivetrain components and related parts. Locating a company to supply us with the finest replacement components for replacing all of the parts of the system, or just one part is a big benefit to our customers, first and foremost. As a company who prides themselves on uncompromising quality parts and customer service, it has been a great pleasure being chosen to supply these exclusive components to our customers.

The electrical motor and generators start the ICE engine [An internal combustion engine [ICE] using an Atkinson cycle engine, which is more efficient than the more common Otto cycle engine] and provides power for the Continuously Variable Transmission [CVT]. The motor/generators are used as electrical generators when in braking mode, thus regenerating electricity to re-charge the batteries, [the electric motors] and are capable of powering the vehicle at low speed less than 30 mph by itself.

A Hybrid Synergy Drive [HSD] is a transmission that combines a planetary gear-set system that works almost exactly like a Continuously Variable Transmission [CVT] with one conventional gear change. It does not use a torque converter like a conventional automatic transmission. The computer controlled [HSD] transaxle adjusts and blends the amount of power from the [Atkinson] gasoline engine, and the electric motor-generator(s) as needed by the front drive wheels and main rechargeable batteries.

For all practical purposes, the ECCVT transmission [Called Hybrid Synergy Drive] is an electrically operated CVT transmission. CVT transmissions are well suited to Hybrid cars because they are small and they also use very little power to operate. Combined with full computerization, a CVT will provide absolute seamless power, without noticeable gear changes. It’s all part of the system, which includes the inverter and main battery pack.

You expect GotTransmissions.com to be the leader in Toyota Prius Hybrid transmissions and related components. Expect us to be the main authority on Prius transmissions. Call now and speak with one of the few companies who can provide the products and information you need in terms you understand. Call GotTransmissions today.

1999 Allison MD3560P Transmissions for Sale

Just the other day we had another inquiry for a 1999 Allison MD3560P transmission for sale. It is a 6 speed automatic transmission for medium duty to large duty school buses, trucks and commercial equipment. It is made by Allison Transmission Company and has 2 overdrive speeds. Allison is the premier supplier of commercial duty automatic transmissions in the world.

Although no longer in production, we still get regular inquiries for them since there are so many of them in use for all sorts of purposes, a versatile transmission to say the least. We inventory a 1999 Allison MD3560P transmission because those were the most popular models. Though we carry all of the entire lineup of Allison transmissions too.

We stock a large inventory of remanufactured and used Allison MD3560P Transmissions. Whether you want to purchase the Allison MD3560 Transmission for export, import or repair, our network of heavy truck yards can help you find the right truck transmission. We have sold transmissions to thousands of truckers and trucking companies around the globe with our high quality refurbished transmissions.

With the thought of remanufactured Allison transmissions as opposed to a good used one, my advise surrounds the age and abundance of said units. Although, this particular model is not in production anymore, the bigger issue is it has been out of production long enough that the best used transmissions have been scarfed up. It’s always possible to locate a used Allison MD3560P, the bigger issue is due to the decrease in supply, used transmissions can cost more than expected.

Which is why we recommend a rebuilt transmission. A rebuilt MD3560P transmission is a true bargain if I say so myself. Because our remanufacturer is uncompromising in quality, it turns out that a remanned unit is actually less expensive in the long run. Remembering of course these transmissions are used for commercial purposes where durability and reliability are number 1.

If you are looking for true value and peace of mind, read some of the testimonials from past customers. If you are not a testimonial person than call GotTransmissions.com and ask the questions you need to and find out that I’m telling you the truth. Get the same service professional truckers get, Call us now. We ship within 24 hours.

Toyota Avalon Transmissions For Sale

The Toyota Avalon is designed to compete in the full size car market. Being Toyota’s flagship model in the US and Canada. 1995 was the first year of production. Transmission options through three generations remained simple, nothing complicated such as engine options. Which makes it easy for GotTransmissions.com to stock Toyota Avalon transmissions for sale.

The first generation made from 1995 to 1999 used a four speed overdrive automatic transmission called the A541E. A transverse mounted transaxle. Meaning it mounts up front to the engine, and both mount from side to side [east to west] as opposed to longitudinal or a rear wheel drive vehicle where the engine and tranny go north to south.

The second generation also used the same transmission. The A541E was a very popular Toyota front wheel drive transmission. It was very advanced and precision built using some of the best technology available at the time. Using a fully computerized system, this was wonderful working, smooth shifting transmission that gave impeccable service as along as it received the proper regular maintenance.

From 2004 to present Toyota sold the generation three Avalon, using the U151E 5 speed automatic overdrive transaxle as the base unit and offering a 6 speed automatic transmission as an option. If you do some homework, 6 speed automatic transmissions in ”luxury sedans” are becoming the norm.

Our intention by presenting such detailed information is to provide a reason to consider us as a source to buy a replacement transmission for your car, specifically your Toyota Avalon transmission from us.

I think you will find speaking with a representative refreshing, we always spend as much time answering questions, educating and helping you determine which replacement transmission that is in your best interests. Call GotTransmissions.com now. Find out how affordable a rebuilt Toyota Avalon transmission is.

Remanufactured Audi Transmissions For Sale

Remanufactured Audi Transmissions for Sale

Remanufactured Audi Transmissions for Sale

Audi is a subsidiary of Volkswagen. Founded in 1909 in Germany. Since 1966, Volkswagen has owned Audi, basically evolving into the ”modern era” of Audi. The very first modern era Audi was the Audi 100. To list every possible remanufactured Audi transmission for sale, or even discuss them would take too long, it’s possible you don’t even care, especially if you are needing a replacement Audi transmission fast.

That being said, a little history is in mind. In all of its models post Volkswagen-era, Audi has never incorporated a conventional rear-wheel drive layout, known as a longitudinal driveline arrangement. Favoring either front-wheel drive [FWD] or all wheel drive [AWD]. Audi has usually engineered its cars with a longitudinally front mounted engine, with the transmission bolted north to south [front to rear]. It’s somewhat unconventional in design, yet Audi has been tremendously successful using the setup.

The Quattro is a particularly high tech all wheel drive automobile designed to compete with the high dollar luxury sedans such as Mercedes and BWM. Ask an Audi owner and they will tell you it’s a superior car. I have driven an Audi A8 and I can personally attest to it’s unreal overall drive-ability. Mercedes and Beemer better watch out!

Audi transmissions mimic Porsche transmissions, not Volkswagen. Audi owners usually have strong feelings about their cars and when in need of repairs seek out the finest parts and mechanics. Which is very suitable for an car built this good. Being extremely precise units, only the most reputable and up to date companies are qualified to re-manufacture them.

It’s not a1978 Chevy transmission, in order to produce a remanufactured product on level with the units we sell, everything from the technicians to the tools and overall paradigm of the shop play into remanufacturing an Audi transmission successfully.

If you are reading this because you are interested in the best value in remanufactured Audi transmissions for sale, you may want to call and speak with a professional and find out how much money we can save you while providing a product that has peace of mind written all over it. Call GotTransmissions.com now.
